New Services Launched for Those Who Want to Obtain a Driver’s License in Japan: “Driving Camp” and “Foreign License Conversion Support”!

Launch of “Driving Camp” and “Foreign License Conversion” Services
We have launched “Driving Camp” and “Foreign License Conversion” services for foreign residents who wish to obtain a driver’s license in Japan!
For those wishing to obtain a new driver’s license in Japan, we offer “Saison Driving Camp.”
By staying at an accommodation provided as part of the program and taking intensive driving lessons, participants can aim to graduate from driving school in as little as 14 days when obtaining a standard automatic-transmission passenger car license. From approximately 130 partner driving schools across Japan, we will recommend the most suitable driving camp plan based on your preferred schedule, budget, location, and type of license.
Our services cover a wide range of licenses, including standard passenger car, motorcycle, semi-medium vehicle, medium vehicle, large vehicle, and Class 2 driver’s licenses.
We can also help you find driving camp plans that accommodate foreign residents, including driving schools where the learner’s permit written test is available in languages other than Japanese. In addition to helping you select a driving school, we provide guidance on the application process, enrollment procedures, and other necessary preparations. Our international staff can assist you in English, Chinese, Nepali, Burmese, Indonesian, Filipino, and other languages until you enroll.
You can also use the “Drivey” learning app to prepare for driver’s license written tests. It provides study materials and practice questions for the learner’s permit written test, full driver’s license written test, Class 2 driver’s license test, and moped license test, making it a useful study tool while attending the driving camp.
For those who already hold a driver’s license issued overseas, we offer our “Foreign License Conversion” service to support the process of converting it to a Japanese driver’s license.
We provide comprehensive, one-stop support, from obtaining a Japanese translation of your foreign driver’s license to preparing for the knowledge and driving skills tests required for conversion. In addition to multilingual textbooks and instructional videos, we also offer one-on-one practical driving lessons at driving schools, helping those who are unfamiliar with Japanese traffic rules or driving conditions prepare thoroughly for the tests.
Whether you already hold an overseas driver’s license or are obtaining a driver’s license for the first time in Japan, you can choose the option that best suits your circumstances.
We look forward to assisting you.
